These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Cosmos Hearth website and the purchase of our products and services. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these foundational terms, which are designed for clarity and fairness, forming the agreement for our relationship.

1. General
Welcome to Cosmos Hearth. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, located at www.cosmoshearth.co.uk, and any purchases you make from us. By engaging with our services, you confirm your acceptance of these terms. References to "Cosmos Hearth," "we," "us," or "our" refer to Cosmos Hearth, a company registered in the UK. "You" or "your" refers to the user or customer of our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.
Definitions:
- Service: Refers to the Cosmos Hearth website, online store, bespoke design services, workshops, and consultations.
- Product: Any item available for purchase through Cosmos Hearth, including curated homeware and bespoke furniture.
- Website: www.cosmoshearth.co.uk.
2. Products & Orders
Product Descriptions: We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, slight variations in color, texture, or finish may occur due to the unique, handcrafted, or natural materials used in many of our products. Images are for illustrative purposes only. All dimensions are approximate.
Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of order confirmation. Delivery charges are additional and will be clearly communicated before purchase.
Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An order confirmation email signifies that we have received your order, not that we have accepted it. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Cosmos Hearth will take place on the dispatch of the Products ordered.
Payment: We accept various payment methods as indicated on our website. All payments are securely processed. You confirm that the credit/debit card or other payment method used is yours and that you have sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the Product(s).
3. Bespoke Commissions & Consultations
Process: Our bespoke furniture design and interior design consultations involve an initial discussion, proposal, design phase, and final execution. Detailed terms for each project, including timelines, materials, and specific design agreements, will be outlined in a separate bespoke contract.
Payment Schedule: Bespoke projects typically require an upfront deposit, with staged payments aligned with project milestones. Payment schedules will be clearly defined in your bespoke contract.
Intellectual Property: All designs, concepts, and intellectual property created during bespoke commissions remain the property of Cosmos Hearth until full payment is received. Unused designs or concepts remain our property.
4. Workshops
Booking & Payment: Workshop bookings are confirmed upon full payment. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the workshop date will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop date are non-refundable.
- In the event Cosmos Hearth cancels a workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a future workshop date.
5. Shipping & Returns
Shipping: We offer global shipping. Delivery times and costs vary depending on destination and product size. Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout. Customs duties and taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns Policy:
- You have 14 days from receipt to return non-bespoke items for a refund or exchange, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and in saleable condition.
- Bespoke or custom-made items are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has commenced, except in cases of manufacturing defects.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
6. Limitation of Liability
Cosmos Hearth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London, Greater London, UK for the resolution of any disputes.
